Hall No. 3 is part of the new North Delta Public Safety Building. It was opened June 2nd, 2001 by her worship Mayor Lois Jackson. The building is shared by the Delta Fire and Emergency Services Department and the Delta Police Department.

The area protected by Hall No. 3 includes all areas within 120th Street on the East, to but not including 72nd Avenue or Scott 72 Shopping Centre on the South. North to Delta's boundaries excluding the Highway 91 and Alex Fraser Bridge. Some distinctive areas within the boundaries are Nordel Industrial Park, River Road, and Surrey Fraser Docks.

There is a minimum staffing of two officers and four firefighters on duty 24 hours a day seven days a week. There is a main and a spare engine, a ladder truck, and the high angle rescue vehicle. Tower 3 runs to all calls (medical, fire, motor vehicle incidents - MVI, public assistance, and high angle) in the area. The ladder, "Ladder 3" runs to all MVI's, fire and medical if Engine 3 is committed to another call. It also backs up Engine 5 and Quint 6 when required.
