Hall No. 6 was officially opened Oct. 24th 1996 by Her Worship Mayor Beth Johnson. It is located at 1429 Lindsay Place on Annacis Island.

The area that it protects is: all areas on Annacis Island including Highway 91 from Richmond on the North to the Nordel interchange on the South. Distinctive parts of this area are the Alex Fraser Bridge, The GVRD sewage treatment plant, and the many large industrial buildings on Annacis Island.

The minimum staffing at this Hall is one Officer and three Firefighters on duty 24 hours a day seven days a week. There is one Engine - Quint 6 at Hall No. 6. Quint 6 responds to all calls (medical, fire, motor vehicle incident, industrial accident) in its area. Back up comes from Engine 5 and Tower 3.
